Zac's Blogging Extravaganza

Well, I made it through school. Not that I couldn't it was all the stress and lack of money to be honest. Had my last professionalism class today. I'll start my externship site tomorrow at Medical City. That should be exciting. With any luck I'll be a good fit with the staff and maybe at the end of extern it will evolve into a more permanent role with the medical team. That would bring some much needed structure and stability to my life. Needless to say I won't be returning home to Michigan anytime soon. At least not permanently. I LOVE Dallas.

Maybe I'll just move back to Michigan. There is nobody here for me.

Well, I've been putting in submissions to local rock bands who are looking for drummers. I really want to play with Stone Road but it might take some more time for that to happen. Got two good starts though, one this weekend for what I'm going to call an 80's Rock Band and another is a fill in spot for an amazing cover band. That potential gig is on a Friday night in a bar and pays $100 which is fine with me. It'd be nice to get my drumsticks into the local musicians' circle again. School is a whole different blog. Everything's fine but I have mixed emotions, fear, excitement, and questions as to how, if, and when I will further my education and where I will live.
